Breedlove Passport Travel Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Gig Bag)

Travel lightly with a Breedlove Passport acoustic-electric that sounds much bigger than it looks! Plug in and tune up with an onboard tuner and electronics.

Many travel instruments just don't sound right; compromises are made in the way they're designed and constructed, and the result is a thin, brittle and uninspiring tone. The Breedlove Passport Travel guitar doesn't make those compromises. It sounds great when played acoustically and built-in electronics are there for those situations when you want to plug in. The built-in tuner allows you to travel lighter without having to pack an external tuning device.

Wow. That's all I have to say. I was in the market for a travel guitar and found myself exploring the option like others. Baby taylor, little martins, yamaha apx, all of them. After reading the reviews on other sites I decided to buy this one without ever holding one! A little nerving for a guitar I know, but when I unboxed it all concerns were gone.... This thing is built like a tank. I would say 5 times the quality of any other travel guitar that I have played. Sound is great after I changed the strings to med gauge. The pickup is just ok. Not the best but for under 300 what all can you ask for. It's there if you need it. The onboard turner works to get you close but still not the best. Bag is also just ok. Not a lot of padding at all, but the guitar by itself is worth the money without electrics and the bag. Would buy over 10 times.
