Feature:
The bass roll of switch is very straight forward. You have two different roll offs. Choose the best setting for your situation and it will capture it crisp!
Quality:
Simply amazing!!
Value:
Unbelievable that they sell this microphone for so cheap. I simply dont understand. I feel like I just robbed someone. Comes with the nice carrying case and all.
Desirability:
I may just go out and buy two more of these bad boys. I am sold on this mic!
Sound:
What an amazing sounding microphone!! This mic has one of the cleanest and clearest sounds I have heard. When I first connected it I have to admit I was a bit disaapointed. It was extremely sensitive to plosives. Any plosive would just distort the mic to the point where it would just go mute. The next day I ran to the nearest music center purchased a microphone stand with a pop filter and problem solved. Just a great sounding microphone. I mainly use it just for rap vocals. I have recorded vocals from 10-15 feet away from the mic. What more do I have to say? I fully understand why this microphone has sold more than 15,000!!!
Ease of Use:
Very easy to set up and use. When first setting it up I did not even think of turning on the phanton power to my pre amp so I thought something was wrong with the mic. As soon as I turned on the phantom power it was like giving a blind man vision!
Support:
No experience with SE's support team. Hopefully I never will.
Overall:
I really do not know much about frequency levels and all the technical aspects of a microphone but I know one thing, this microphone is AMAZING! Buy It! I dont know why local music centers do not sell these microphones. They are missing out on sales!!!

Feature:
The shockmount is strong and looks vintage - as good as my Neumann shockmount, which was considerably more expensive. Really a nice unit.
Quality:
I'm sure it's made well, but then I treat my mics with the respect they deserve. I put it to bed in it's case when I'm done with it and don't beat up my gear. It will last forever.
Value:
Like I said, believe it or not, it rivals my Neumann and looks very cool and much less the price. What's not to like?!
Desirability:
Reminds me of early Abbey Road gear - I see and hear John and Paul singing "No Reply" into this baby! It has a cool vintage distinction about the way it looks - not just sounds!
Sound:
The presence of this mic is very impressive. My routine choice of vocal mics is Neumann, but now love using the SE2200A for many of my vocal and acoustic guitar tracks. I love adding new mics to my studio arsenal and was really pleased to purchase this gem that came via a strong referral. I wasn't let down. I am proud to own it and love it on strictly one vocal w/ acoustic guitar recordings. It is so clean and warm, especially when using baritone vocal ranges. I don't EQ the vocals and am using my dbx 576 preamplifier/compressor for signal processing. I will probably purchase more.
Ease of Use:
No problem with this mic. About as easy as it gets. The shockmount has been attached to my boom for a long time now, waitng for the mic to be inserted. I haven't bothered going back to my Neumann shockmounts. This is such a "sweet" mic!
Support:
Nope!
Overall:
I'll be singing many songs the rest of my performing life into this gem...and then some...a long time!
