Feature:
All the necessary controls for controlling bass problems, and the attenuation is handy for electric guitar amps.
Sound:
Very smooth sound for recording choirs and instruments. I've used it as part of a matched pair in ORTF for recording a medium sized choir. And it is fantastic for recording acoustic guitar, and for the second ambience mic on an electric guitar amp.
Ease of Use:
Like any mic, you need to know what you're doing, but this one is very resistant to feedback compared to other cheaper mics I've tried. And doesn't need heavy EQing to sound good.
Support:
This thing is made of brass and feels extremely solid. I have one that has survived a drop from the top of 2m high boom onto hard marble. Only a slight dent in the wire scree, but it kept working like nothing happened.
