It's not as vibrant as a Fishman, & I noted that synopsis at the Acoustic Guitar forum, to which some players heeded. Nevertheless, without comparison, the Vox does a decent job of accurately amplifying acoustic instruments quite loudly. I bought a blem here at zZounds & there seems to be blems available periodically. People are checking out Vox, but perhaps should have gone to Fishman initially. I won't go to Fishman. I think the Vox is OK. If anything, the price is right.
