Fantastic. Fast shipping, reasonably priced, a definite quality product. Recording to the SD card is an ease! Just plug in the USB or CD, to start playing, hit record and you're good to go! I bought a 32gig SD card which should hold a plenty. Your computer will need to have an SC card reader FYI to play back your music. (I think you can play back in the machine itself (I THINK)
The quality of the sound is excellent. You can also change the decibels of the music which is amazing! (Although music cannot be lowered or higher decibel just plugged in the AUX, needs to be digital format on the USB. But most people will have their music on MP3, so don't be concerned. I'm not sure about the CD yet, but not sure if you can adjust the decibel on that one. The microphone quality is excellent .Sound is clear and crisp and you can tell the mics are not cheaply made. You can adjust hiss and reverb too.
I would totally recommend this karaoke machine to anyone. It's reasonable and well made and I love it! Thank you zZounds!

My review is harsh but my view. I'm a DJ i have professional gear. But my wife loves karaoke.. and i decided for this unit as a starter unit. It doesn't disappoint the excitement factor as a Christmas gift.. but it was a let down for sound quality and volume. She even asked what's up with the sound.. as i made some lame excuse as not to be embarrassed. I know that if i EVER have to buy another karaoke related item.. i will buy a CD+G Player and hook to my 1000 watt system instead (not to convenient for portability) but it would sound really good. I do have my quirks but.. overall ?? if it makes my wife happy, i'm happy. Would i recommend to a friend ? not without these reservations.
Sound
I gave 2.5 stars.. i though it could be better for the $400+ price tag. Do note that the quality of the CD+G plays a lot into it.. but the microphone sound quality needs help.
Features
For the price.. i expected more features. The big draw to this is the wireless microphone. and it doesn't sound like they spent a lot of effort or money in the quality of the wireless mics. The Echo effects sound really cheap. other than that.. not to many bells and whistles on this unit.
Ease of Use
I gave 3.5.. the remote control is jammed with buttons and small print. and for the novice to intermediate user.. it's a mess to look at. But, to open out the box and set up the microphones and insert CD and play.. it's quite easy.
Quality
Not too heavy, but solid, feels really rugged..it feels like it could handle road travel between Holiday parties really well.
Value
Is this worth the price. NO!. I Think it's a glorified Discount Retail Box store unit...I do see potential in other VocoPro products but of much high price. That have Digital Sound Processing..with better effects and sound.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to use yet.. only 3 days old for me.. I hope not to EVER have to call the manufacturer.
The Wow Factor
No WOW factor for me. Other than wireless and sturdy makes on the go parties fun.

I received the DvD Soundman It came repackaged, did not work. called VocoPro ,they instructed me to remove and send the module in question to their California address. After checking the part and decided it was not the problem, I am now waiting to send said product back to zZounds.
