I did quite a bit of research before I purchased this pre-amp. I am using this pre-amp as the center of my rack routing signal from my PC, mic's, instruments, MP3 players and just about anything else I can think to plug into it via a patch bay I have it wired to. I bought this pre-amp because it delivers the performance I want at a very reasonable price. The mixer is very straight forward and not flashy at all; it just works. If you want something with lots of cool lights to look at and flashy silk screening this isn't the product for you. If you want a pre-amp that plays clean and has lots of hookup and routing options without breaking the bank; this is the product for you. It sounds clean and clear, no issues with hiss or hum. Would have been nicer with metal knobs but...it wouldn't be a $200 mixer anymore if they did that.

Bought this to replace my Rolls RM69 MixMate3 as it started hissing. This was a great upgrade/replacement to the MixMate. The features and the amount of stereo channel inputs it has is great! This mixer is used at my desk at home as I have my computer main audio, USB interface audio, minidisc, turntable, chromecast audio and HDMI switcher(analog audio out), and guitar all going to the mixer then to Mackie CR3 and Polk Audio PSW10. The one thing I wish it did was send stereo out of the MON OUT on the back of the unit. As far as I could tell it only sends a mix but I haven't revisited the output and have just been using the EFX OUT instead.

Single rack space is the biggest plus, but also adds a lot of flexibility in routing. A very quiet mixer too. Actually worked much better than I was suspecting at this price point. I'd replace it with the same if necessary. But it better not be necessary any time soon. ;-) Ok, Samson!?!?
