As a house producer, this was one of the best purchases I bought for my dawless set up. I love that it’s battery powered, portability,features like scatters and the sounds from the classic Roland drum machines and many more. You can also add your own samples into the sd card slot! The problem with this machine is the menu diving but you’ll get used to it within a week. Overall, this is a good drum machine for beginners and for professionals!

I’m so glad I bought this. I was nervous at first about any limitations it might have, but after a few hours with it, I’m thrilled. If you look through the manual, and do some menu diving for initially setting up a new pattern, you’ll be fine. Im using the HPF/LPF for the master effect, which is awesome. You can have up to 8 variations for a pattern, and it’s seamless to switch between them. You can record effects changes in real time too. The sliders are great. Also, this machine syncs with my Electro-Harmonix 45000 looper, so I have keyboards and synths looping in sync while I manipulate the beat. The onboard sounds are great as well. Haven’t used my own samples with it yet, but plan to. Great drum machine.
