Finaly, a solid-state amplifier that has incredible sound. The clean channel with a built-in compressor is one of the best I have ever heard. The gain channel will make it seem you are using a tube amp and, in some cases, exceeds them. The only flaw is that you need to disconnect the speaker if you want to use the XLR output only (headphone bedroom use).

This amp is SERIOUSLY amazing. I'll start with the clean channel:The clean channel is CLEAN. Very loud and VERY CLEAN. It's an absolutely perfect pedal platform, and can get nice and spanky with a Strat. When I say loud and clean, I mean it. This thing moves some serious air, and absolutely does not distort with just the guitar input or cranking the volume knob. Stack some overdrives together or throw a good distortion on the clean channel, and you almost don't even need the lead channel. I use this channel almost exclusively for my one band, which is a jam-adjacent grunge band. The Lead Channel:The lead channel is very good. It does perfectly fine in my melodic hardcore band. On its own, you can get a pretty tight chug if you have active pickups and use the tight switch, but it also takes a boost very well. Not as tight and modern sounding as some of the digital options or a properly cranked all-tube high-gain head, but at ANY volume you can get this amp sounding good. If you play shoegaze, hardcore, hard rock, or anything that needs that classic Orange growl, this will get it done. It works PERFECTLY as a complement to my other guitar players' scooped American tone in my Melodic Hardcore band.Features:-The FX loop is great; I use it all the time for delay and reverb.-Plenty loud to play with a band and power a 4x12-You need to buy a footswitch separately, but it is totally worth it-Footswitchable volume is VERY useful for taking solos if you want to stay on the lead channel-You can use the DI out without a speaker without damaging the amp-Fits into a normal commuter-sized backpack, and comes with a carrying case with a zipper pocketAll in all, if you are sick of lugging around a heavy and fragile tube amp, but are worried about tone and feel, this thing will get you 99% of that without breaking itself or you in the process.
Sound
This amp is as close as you can get to tube tone without the price tag and maintenance cost. It straight-up rips. The lead channel can be a little fizzy for lead playing, so I like to play my sweeter-sounding leads and solos by stacking overdrives and boosts on the clean channel with a bit of the built-in VCA compression. In my hardcore band, I don't need as smooth of leads, so I tend to just clean-boost the lead channel as my rhythm-and-lead tone.
Features
This amp isn't really lacking any features. It's all analog, so it pretty much does what it needs to. I think the choice to go with a class A/B setup is the real selling point as it makes the output feel extremely touch-sensitive and has insanely high headroom.
Ease of Use
It's a really simple amp. Oranges are known for being easy to dial in. The clean is more of a matter of how much volume and compression you want, with a bit of added EQ. The lead has some more options but is still very stripped back and instantly provides that classic Orange tone. A great tip I have learned is to use the clean channel as a pedal platform to make any tone I want, and to use the lead channel as if it were a high-gain amp. This is why having the FX loop is awesome, because it allows you to use your reverb and delays even with the high gain on the lead channel.
Quality
It's been super reliable, as you would expect with a pro-level solid-state amp. The build quality is top-notch; the jacks are SOLID, the knobs are satisfying, and the padded carrying case keeps it safe in my backpack when I play out.
Value
I would say yes, only because it is hard to find solid-state amps that aren't aimed at practice and beginners. This thing is seriously made for gigging, and it is apparent the first time you use it. There are no tonal shortcomings, and paired with the right speakers, this thing sings like the best of them.
Manufacturer Support
I have never dealt with them, so I can't speak on it. They seem like they would be easier to reach than a company like Mesa, Marshall, or Boss, though.
The Wow Factor
Orange is a really cool company. Their gear sounds cool, looks cool, and has history behind it. I have people all the time telling me how insane my rig sounds, and when they see the little amp powering it all, they're blown away.
