Dont let the digital pre amp fool you.The tone of this Marshall is all tube tone.The power amp section is el34 valve power.

Along w/ the preset patches from clean to mean you can dial it manually like a regular amp,save the patch and recall it via footswitch or midi.Built in digital effects!.

Very easy to use.

This is a very versitale amp I would recommend using a Marshall 1960 4x12 or equivilant to maximize to tone of this head
