Finally a solid state amplifier worth buying and keeping. The sound is incredible and it has some great features but the only minor ding is that the headphones are plugged into the back and there is no way to switch between them and the speakers without unplugging them. To be fair other attenuators and amplifiers are like that too but still I am glad I purchased it.

First I'm a proud Marshall Fanboy for over 40 years. My Marshall is getting old and tired so I started the quest for a new head. at first I was not at all interested in the Foundry series Lionheart amps but after researching them I bought one. It's not a Marshall but still very much a British Amp. It's not a metal head amp but is an amp most sophisticated with great clean tone and lots of articulation. It can handle most anything I want it to. and I forget at times it's not a tube amp. I would recommend this to anyone but metal players. Keep in mind you need to of the Laney foot switches to boost/channel select and one for Effects Chorus/Tremolo if you want to use propitiatory foot switches. It has LA-AR IR impulse response for headphones just select 2x12 or 4x12 for your IR cab sim. or 1 watt for quiet playing to 120 watts that will be more then enough for most other applications. over all a great inexpensive way to own a Great British amp.

GOT MY LANEY HEAD TODAY!PLUG THIS HEAD IN AND HOOKED IT UP TO A 2X10 CAB WITH A CELESTION GOLD AND A EMINENCE RAGIN CAJUN , COULD NOT BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF THIS HEAD ABSOLUTELY BLEW ME AWAY THE SOUND IS UNBELIAVABLE! THE TREMELO AND REVERB IS HEAVENLY GAIN IS THE BEST I'VE HEARD HAVE OWNED MANY AMPS AND HEADS OF ALL FLAVORS THIS ONE IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER OWNED IF YOU WANT A QUALITY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WITH AWESOME EFFECTS AND SOUND BUY THIS ONE YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED. MUSICIAN FOR 15 YRS BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!
