Playing guitar for 27 years, man I'm old!! But, Laney is a British company and this little amp is good for what you pay for it. It's louder than the 15 watts at least in my little space. I have a Fender Acoustisonic 90 Watt and a Vox 50 watt acoustic amplifier. You can't plug a mic into this, but the sound is good for goofing around with your acoustic guitar. The next step up is a couple hundred dollars, depending on what you're buying this for. Overall, good amp.

I have a Vox 50 watt acoustic amplifier and a Fender Acoustisonic 90 watt (now out of production.) This little amp sounds great and is actually pretty loud. Laney makes good amplifiers and this is no exception.
