"BRAZILIAN ELECTRO MUSIC RULES!!!"
I'll use it for a while, it's fun especially when your drunk and in a rowdy mood. I also own the ER and both of them together gets by a small venue gig.
Sound
Using it live is great, but when sampling or listening to one part at a time, there can be "chipping" or "skipping" sounds. The sample edit features are very limited for "start" and "end".
Features
The effects section is great, but once again it's impossible to have multiple effects, using the kaoss pad is a solution. Sampling a real guitar or bass offers great sounding results. Also, being able to copy an individual part from one pattern to another, is a feature that a LOT of samplers don't have!
Quality
The construction is weird, the display should be a twin digital display, and the buttons are way too small. There's a lot of writtten instructions on the sampler interface, that's really ugly!
Value
Now that I know how to fully use the equipment, it gets a 9, but if it was on the day I first tried it out, probably a 6.
Manufacturer Support
Don't need it.
The Wow Factor
It's just a practical addition to my set up, now that I got a MC-909 from Roland.
