I've been looking for a simple power amp solution for quite a while... I use a Line 6 POD HD Pro amp modeler (which I still love!) for my guitar tone, and I quickly grew tired of lugging around 75lb tube amps and 100+lb 4x12 cabs just to run my pod through. I looked at a lot of options---micro tube amps, tube power amps (Carvin), other solid state power amps (Rocktron, Seymour Duncan), combo amps... anything that could reduce the size of my rig but still give me plenty of power for those shows where being mic'd or running my POD straight to board may not be an option. iSP Technologies saved the day with this amazing device. I still can't fully understand how a device so small is able to easily contend with the 100w Tube Amp solution I was previously using. I'll miss the coloring that tubes lend to your tone, but in terms of power: it does NOT disappoint! Probably my ONLY complaint about this device is that there isn't a power switch. You need to unplug power supply to cut the power amp off. I guess an EQ might be nice, too, but you should be able to cover that if you're using a pedalboard or amp modeller. Other than that, this thing is AMAZING and I would absolutely buy again or recommend to friends!
