I bought the ISP Theta Pedal recently and thought it would be nice to have this as my preamp and a loud power amp in just a small cabinet like a 112 or maybe a 212 setup. After several experiments I came up with a real winner. I have this with a Valve FX (digitech) and the ISP Stealth amp in a 212 with the setup in stereo. It sounds huge! I can not believe the sound and volume that I can get from such a small package. There is one thing you should know, it is the only thinkg that really bothers me, The unit comes with a Laptop style power brick. I know why this was done, but would have been ok with the power unit built in, even if it meant more weight to the actual unit. The unit (amp) only weighs about 2 pounds, it feels lighter, with the brick you can add another two. It is small and very compact. Right away you can see it is easy to use, there are a few features that should be noted, you can run run the unit in "Bridged" mode and you get all the power to run a Speaker or cabinet in mono. You can run stereo out as well, If you run bridged, the stereo connections are disabled. (*note you can get stereo in and run mono out.) I ran this thing at about 50% when i built the box and it never even got warm. It is very loud and very efficient. I do plan to buy another for my smaller 112 rig with the same processor. Go try one out, I am sure that you will be happy as I am. CJWII

I have always wanted to take a 112 cabinet with a High Powered guitar speaker and a decent rack effects unit and make a rig that can do it all. (i know that line 6 and a few others do this for heads and some smaller units) I wanted this unit because of the power and the size. IT is small, very small. The power supply is about the same size though ( I wished it was smaller, but the way they work together is heaven). The unit is time delayed to prevent pops that could ruin your speaker(s). So I mounted the rack unit it fit perfectly in my cabinet (and older GK 112 (the wooden cabinet ones) I used the Celestion 12 (GT80) I turned the amp volume at about 10 o'clock. Hooked everything up checked my cables and fired everything up. Nice blue light to tell you that all is working. OK the test: Loud..really loud. I unhooked the 12 inch speaker and hooked up my 212 cab.. turned to about noon...and it was really loud. so far so good; I then ran one 412 cab and things got crazy...I ran all of these cabs in the briged mode (180 watts maximum) I wanted to be safe so until I went to both channels for the 412 cabs (2 of them) I turned up to 2 o'clock and let it rip It was so loud. I can tell this amp has a lot of head room if you are running both channels you get 280 usuable watts of power. I wanted to see how the Theta Floor Preamp would sound with this amp. I can tell you this...it sounds great! I can see myself taking my furman pedal board loading up with all that I need and then carrying two 112 cabs and just letting it rip. The amp only has one setting, the amount of power, but i believe it is all you need. Your other pedals and or rack units should eliminate the need for them. My first unit shipped broken. I called ZZOUNDS and the Return process is so easy and fast it is crazy I ordered and recived the first unit Tuesday my returned unit arrived Friday. I called ISP and spoke with Buck (ISP CEO) he said that may be the first unit that has evershipped that was broken. I think it ws the power supply, but could not be sure. I hope this helps you to make a sound decision.
