"Excellent Practice Amp!"
Good quality, good sound, good features, good price! As a practice amp it certainly delivers. In addition, this amp should have blown up on me, but didn't! Read on...I was given a used one several years ago, and had put it in storage until recently. When I finally turned it on the other night, it first crackled, then it popped (I saw the flash of a spark through the front vents), and then it just hummed! I figured that it had blown a filter cap, and so proceeded to remove the amp chassis from the enclosure. Checking it with a flashlight, I saw no evidence of anything blowing up, the fuse was still good, and none of the caps were bulging or leaking. I then tilted the chassis and a screw clip came tumbling out from underneath the PC board! Whoever had removed the chassis at some point in the past had obviously lost one of the screw clips, and just proceeded to put it back together without making sure it hadn't fallen into the guts! When I turned it on, the clip had apparently come into contact with a trace or solder point under the PC board, causing the flash, pop, and hum! I removed the clip, and turned the amp on, expecting the worse. To my surprise, it came back on with no apparent damage! I put it all back together, plugged my bass in, turned it on, and... it played perfectly! Either I got lucky, or this is a bit of a testimony to the durability of the amp's design! I'd say more of the former, and a bit of the latter. In any event, this is an excellent practice amp, with a lot of well thought out features, great sound, durable design, and robust construction.

"Good For Practice By Yourself, Other Then That...Buy Something Different"
Overall, this isnt for any gigging at all, at MOST practice by yourself, not even band practice, its way too low.
Sound
If your guitarist has an amp higher than 60 watts then dont even bother with this amp. I have a fender deluxe active jazz bass and it sounds like crap through this amp turned past 4 or 5. ive had lots of problems with buzzes and wierd sounds. The only thing this is good for is practice.
Features
This is a normal setup..but the limiter really has no purpose because if you turn it high up then the amp isnt as loud and loud is an overstatement.
Quality
Many of the knobs fell off.
Value
I guess its worth it if you have an extra 160 dollars to spend, but there are better deals out there.
Manufacturer Support
I havent had to deal with them.
The Wow Factor
the limiter has a light on it that lights up every time you play a note so thats cool.
