Sound? Sounds great. I like the "thunk" of the hardshell plastic when stuff bounces off it.

The case lacks covered compartments. That's my only gripe with the features of the case.

Very easy to use.

I would like to see more a more robust hinging system. If I built this, I'd use a piano hinge. After all, this case is supposed to take a trip in a cargo hold of a plane and survive the baggage handlers. While I haven't flown with it yet, I believe the hinges would be the weak point.

this case is nice looking and serves it's purpose--but--when you try to open the lid after unlatching--there's always one lid latch that won't clear the locking latch--it can become maddening-wishing you had more than 2 hands to clear these latches--I attached a small handle on the side of the lid to help pull up after unlatching--sometimes it works---bad design
