Very solid sound, really brings your acoustic guitar to life. The EQ, phase, pad, and anti-feedback controls make it really versatile for dialing in a great sound with any acoustic. I've used it with different instruments equipped with different sorts of pickups and was always able to make it sound very natural and airy. I've even used it with a mandolin and it captured the crispness and woodiness beautifully. The onboard effects are awesome and all sound great. They're designed so perfectly to add a lot of depth without disturbing the tones of your instrument. The way the effects controls work are also my only complaints tho. You have an, "Effect A" and an, "Effect B" that both affect both channels and you have a single level knob on each channel for A and an on-off switch for B. So for instance you have to use the same reverb dialed to the same time parameter on both channels; you can't use the bright Reverb 1 on your voice and the darker Reverb 2 on your instrument, you can only control the level of reverb. Most of the effects in B aren't something you'd want in your voice anyway. You can mitigate this by using an external reverb in an effects loop. However the effects loop runs before the built-in effects. If you're using a looper, then the onboard echoes and modulations will affect your loops. And this also means if you're using the onboard modulation with an external reverb, you just have to be okay with that signal chain being in the order that it's in.That being said, this will still definitely be my primary gigging amp from now on. Definitely worth the investment and I'm happy I got the option with the foot switch.
Sound
The amp has a very airy and natural sound. Your audience will really feel like they're up close to your guitar. The dynamic response is very accurate (or at least as accurate as the pickup you're using). It's loud enough to sit next to a drum set and the tone shaping options make it easy to find a way to fit into any mix if you're playing with a band.
Features
Most useful is the independent tone shaping and anti feedback controls on each channel. It will really capture the sound of any instrument. The least useful are the pre-mix D.I. outs on each channel.
Ease of Use
You can dial in solid tones in a couple minutes. It might take some work if you're moving between instruments, but it's never particularly difficult and you can make it work wonderfully with any acoustic instrument.
Quality
Feels very solid and sturdy. This thing was definitely made to be hauled out to gigs.
Value
It's what you'd expect for the money.
The Wow Factor
It captures my instruments better than most amps I've tried, and it does it without making me learn a whole bunch of digital stuff or any kind of complex controls.
