I've always wanted a 5150 amp every since Eddie and Peavey worked together on the original model. I'm not a rich man by any means so they've always been out of reach for me price wise. Thanks to AMS and their payment system I could get one of these. I have the head paired with 12" Eminence CV-75 and what a sound. This little monster has all the gain and then some. It's nice when you find the level of gain you like and have the option to add more if need be. The number one channel can go from super clean to a really nice over driven sound. Channel two is where it's at though. With the gain knob, the burn switch, and plus overdrive you should be able to get any sound you want too. It's a very versatile amp and you could play any style of music with it. Being able to switch from 15 to 7 watts is nice added feature too. It's still as loud as you want it to be on 7. If this amp is in your price range this is the amp to get. Even if it's $100 more than you're wanting to spend like me it's worth every penny
