"Seasoned to Perfection"

I love little amps filled with tubey goodness. Unfortunately, they never have on-board reverb. I tried 3 or 4 others, including the holy grail. This, however, was the first reverb in pedal form that created a religious experience for me. It felt thick and springy, slathered with funky decay. All the others seemed a bit boxy and sterile. Having said that, I understand taste in reverberation experiences is subjective and idiosyncratic. Your mileage, of course, may vary. And, as one other reviewer noted, it seems to tear through the nine-volts like Jimmy Page goes through bow strings.

I ike this pedal for the ease of use and road-worthiness. Have been using this pedal for about 3 years now and it has performed well. I like my reverb very 'wet' and this pedal can give me that, however, if I dial-in too "wet" a sound, it gives me a very undesireable slap-back. I then dial it down and sometimes get too "thin" of a reverb sound. Vibrato works well enough since I don't use much of that, but combined with reverb, gives a great tone. Overall, I like the pedal a great deal but may buy a Boss pedal with dedicated reverb only with a wetter sound with no slap-back. I have not used manufacturer support , hence the low rating.

This pedal was a HUGE disappointment....The reverb has significant unwanted artifacts and produces a thin noisy sound. I would not purchase this pedal again and I love the old Fender sound.

Musical Background:

50 years. I still play professionally but on a limited basis.

Musical Style:

Very old classic rock.

"The reverb of professionals."

I've never used a better reverb pedal. It sounds superb and holds up through some serious abuse.
Sound
Absolutely beyond belief. If you've ever played through a real Fender reverb amp, you know how good they sound.
Features
After tuning up the amp, the pedal actually has more features to its reverb than any single Fender reverb amp alone.
Ease of Use
You can replicate any sound, just turn a few knobs and you're there. As an added bonus, it's a footswitch, which means you don't have to run over to your amp to turn it on.
Quality
It's a BOSS. I don't really think I need to say any more.
Value
Only flaw here is that if you're using it with the 9 volt batteries, they eat 'em up unless you unplug the battery after every time you're done using it. But if you're running through a power pack, you're good to go.
Manufacturer Support
Can't say. I've never had to deal with BOSS because the quality is so good.
The Wow Factor
If you see someone stomping this to get their sound, you're gonna want one. I doubt anyone's gonna see it on stage, but it's a pedal.
