"a whole lot of something for nothing."
i'd be satisfied for many years to come. even if i don't become a germaine dupre, or a puffy combs.
Sound
the drum and bass sounds are top notch. i just wish the would've added more, like instruments. they killed a perfect 10 all around.
Features
the most useful features is the machine itself. c-mon, it doesn't take a musical rocket scientist to figure this thing out. it still lacks one important feature though. "were are the damn instuments"! that takes away points from it.
Quality
i wish that the knobs were glued to the thing. some one stole the knobs.
Value
definately worth the price. every producer should have one even if you own an mpc2000xl.
Manufacturer Support
i haven't dealt with the company yet, but that's because i've had no problems with it.
The Wow Factor
i love the black box with the orange trimmings.

"No more than a toy"
A good practice tool, that's it.
Sound
The sounds on this unit are dull, don't get it confused with lo-fi. The snares , kicks, and bass are not going to give life to any track. Hip Hop beats need spice, not a muffled kick that mimics the sounds coming out of a SP-1200 or MPC. Also, after trigger a sound you will notice at the end of the sound played a light hiss. Just proof that sounds were poorly created.
Features
This unit has a nice set up of features.
Quality
The first thing you notice about this unit is it's flimsy feel. What can I say, it's a toy
Value
If this unit breaks your wallet it is no supprise that you can't afford a mpc. So my advice is go with what you can afford.
Manufacturer Support
never needed support

"Dope Machine!"
Perfect for poor-ass hip-hop producers w/ no money. This drum machine, coupled with a good keyboard is all you'll really need to get your sh!t popping!
Sound
Big crunchy drum sounds. The bass isn't too bad either, unless you're really into creating bassline-orientated tracks. I myself am into hip-hop, so I don't really need a whole potpourri of bass sounds. I mostly bought this thing for the DRUM sounds, anyway...
Features
The knobs are dope. You can turn 255 sounds into an infinite number sounds by playing around with them!
Quality
Everything is cool except the LCD screen could be a little brighter, and the number of required batteries slightly smaller.
Value
I copped mine for $200 and that price, for this kind of sound, is a STEAL! Get this if you're on a budget and can't exactly splurge on an MPC-2000.
The Wow Factor
I'm not feeling the orange trim, but does this REALLY have anything to do with the sound/function/ease of use of the product??
