Excellent amp. You will get as close to the big M sound as you can at a fraction of the cost. With the matching MKII 2x12 cabinet, you'll get a full tone on clean and dirty channels. Each channel has a shaping switch ... there's not much this amp can't do.

I've never owned a tube amp before and mostly I am a drummer but I've dabbled in the last few years with guitar. I play mostly hard rock and metal on this guy and it sounds great. I paired it with a 2×12 Blackstar cabinet and I get great sound out of it. I don't really need to use many other pedals because the one that came with it is excellent. I can play Tool or Slipknot and then click the pedal and play Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pink Floyd. It's super loud. I could absolutely play live shows with this. Definitely not a stadium, but a club for sure. It's leaps and bounds ahead of any amp I've ever owned.

Sounds like a vox ac15 on the clean side and a marshall on the dirty channel.
