I have arrived. This guitar will handle my needs just fine.
Sound
This is really a fine instrument. I've owned mine for 8 years, and the feel of the guitar is solid, easy, and, in-a-word, comfortable. Featuring a comfortable neck with a really light touch, this guitar is really a joy to play for hours on end.
Features
I purchased mine new with hard shell case and strap. No other accessories came with it.
Ease of Use
The fat bluesy sounds of the bridge pickup work well with crisp highs from the neck. The humbuckers will distort and squeal when called upon to do so, but the real beauty of this piece is the jazzy , full bodied, clean sound of its mid-range.
Quality
The neck is still as healthy as the day I got the guitar back in '02. A friend who plays a Gibson EES prefers this Samick. I was a bit worried about the adjustable wooden bridge piece, but it has held up extremely well. The blond version of the guitar was my choice, and I get more compliments on its beauty than any other guitars that I own.
Value
Coupled with some able fingers, this guitar does as well as many higher priced products.
Manufacturer Support
Only for information have I contacted dealers or the company. The Samick products have become more widely available in a short period of time. The dealers were helpful and courteous in finding out what I wanted to know.
The Wow Factor
I would buy this guitar all over again after heavy use and 8 years of owning it.
