I probably will always use the sessions board. I would definitely supplement with the Orchestra 2 board, (When I get the money) because I love the sound of full orchestra and solo instruments. I have not seen any sound module to equal it in it's class. Although the 128 voice boards and instruments have a more skeletal sound, the save features for these instruments impede the imaginative process and the time factor is very important when recording new music. If it was stolen or lost I would try my best to save my money to replace it.I wish the new SRX boards worked with the Roland XP-80, mainly because it contains more diverse sounds on each board. Before I purchased Rolands XP-80 (which holds my session module) I played and recorded with many bands and spent major bucks, but the sounds in the box idea (workstation) make the missed rehearsal and recording session a thing of the past.
