I don't know what I really expected when I ordered this stand but WOW. It seems to be made exceptionally well and it arrived in a box, in a box. Very well packaged and super simple to assemble.I'm a couch musician and needed something to get my Zoom R8 off the dinner tray, lol. This thing is more suited to be on the road. it's tough. Its big enough to hold my MacBook and the bottom is lined with this non-slip foam material so you can feel comfortable using the platform at just about any angle. Plus, it has a tiny lip around the edges to keep items from slipping. Fully adjustable and fully collapsable. When I ordered this, I wasn't entirely sure that I needed it. Now that I have it, I'm almost certain that I need another. LOL. My wife will love that....
