zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Well balanced overall sound with solid chick and a warm, musical, open-closed sound.
Overview
Since 1947, Paiste has been unrivaled in its ability to produce quality value class instruments. The company's knowledge and experience in cymbal-making has allowed them to design and produce quality instruments with proper sound and function at any level. With the help of automated tools, Paiste crafts intermediate and entry level cymbals according to its traditional, exacting specifications. First unveiled in 1993, the 502 cymbals received major improvements in 1997.
Made from CuSn8 bronze, new 502's are significantly improved in sound, function, and optics, yet are made more affordable, allowing more drummers and percussionists access to Paiste quality in a bronze cymbal. In addition to their trusted projection, vibrant resonance, and musicality, 502's gain warmth and complex harmonics due to their improved features.
Paiste has made a total commitment to providing the musician with real choices of sound colors and a complete range of models and sizes even at the intermediate and entry level, so that drummers and percussionists are not limited in any way. Note the improved appearance of the 502, which adds to the pride and joy of owning a genuine Paiste cymbal.

I think this cymbal will last a long time. I do have a bad history of turning them inside out by hitting them to hard though.
Sound
I was expecting a lower pitch, but I am satisfied with the overall sound quality.
