I purchased 2 of these cables for a pedal board I built. I needed to have the plug-end of the cable in a particular orientation to work with the layout of the board. These cables allow you to change the cable exit from the plug 180-degrees in either direction. That is cool. What isn't so cool in my case is the plugs are too large to fit through the holes in my Temple Audio Templeboard. So the cables cannot travel under the board, but have to live on top. Not a huge deal, but not prefect for my use.
