Mono Vertigo Electric Guitar Case
zZounds Gear Experts Say...
This case not only keeps your guitar in great shape -- it saves your back. Set the Mono Vertigo case upright, unzip it, and grab your guitar from the top.
Overview
Guitarists have seen it (and done it) hundreds of times: grabbing the guitar out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. They do this to save space, to save time, or to save their backs. This observation became the driving concept behind the Mono Vertigo, the world's first top-loading guitar case. The top loading feature might have been enough, but Mono went ahead and redesigned the Headlock for automatic neck support. Then they created The Boot, a rubber sole designed for unsurpassed protection against vertical drops. The game has changed. The Vertigo features a fully redesigned Headlock neck suspension system. No strapping, buckling, or belting required. No extra steps. Just throw your guitar in and the neck finds a natural resting point in the base of the Headlock. Then zip the case up and the top section of the Headlock automatically clamps down over your guitar, holding it firmly in place. Your headstock is now fully protected against backward drops and side-to-side impact.
Lightning Fast!
Another first of its kind, The Boot takes guitar protection to a greater level. Using manufacturing technologies from the footwear industry, the Vertigo bounces off of concrete like a pair of cross trainers. With its custom molded rubber outsole and EVA insole, The Boot also protects strap pins of all shapes and sizes from those nasty vertical drops. Travel in confidence and style. It's a good look.

"Mono guitar cases"

I've had this case for 3 years, but writing an immediate review wasn't important to me until now. I have many electric and acoustic guitars and many cases, both hard and soft. I own 3 Mono soft cases (including the double guitar Mono case). Mono makes superior soft shell protection. The neck support, the padding, the stiffness (even after several years) are impressive. They come with a bigger price tag, but you can rest assured that your guitar will be protected. So much so, that I'm now outfitting all my guitars with Mono cases. I've been disappointed with Ibanez and PRS SE soft cases, and I honestly have no experience with Gator soft bags, but I know MONO is a worthy purchase. If you buy a guitar that doesn't come with a case, or you buy a PRS SE or Ibanez that comes with their gig bag, get a Mono case for it.
