Overview
Nothing says "rock & roll" like fast cars and fast guitars! So Kramer decided to bring them together with the Pacer Carrera, a Seymour Duncan-equipped tone machine with a shred-ready ebony fretboard and a sleek, black gloss finish inspired by the fastest cars on four wheels. The satin-finished maple neck has a slim profile for the ultimate in control and comfort as you weave your way around the track. And the hot-rodded Seymour Duncan SH-2N neck and JB bridge pickups are well-known for cranking out plenty of horsepower and tonal variety. Add a genuine Floyd Rose 1000 Series vibrato and R2 Locking nut, and you've got an axe that's just begging to be played fast and mean.

I purchased this Defender Red Pacer Carerra and when it arrived it had been opened by somebody at zZounds. Was somebody’s return and sold to me as brand new.The Allen wrenches had come loose from the back of the headstock and scratched the guitar up.The neck was crooked in the neck pocket ,had high greets and would break high e strings almost everytime you have to lock the locking nut.I tried sending it back and said my piece. They said they thought it was a neck relief issue so I took it to a luthier. He had it playing better ,but started doing same stuff again dead at first two frets on high e.That was then I realized the fingerboard was cracked at the third fret.So eventually after third call of begging to return it they finally let me.The replacement plays great, but the other one was brighter red.The new one was supposed to have been inspected ,but came with a pretty good sized dent and belt buckle rash on the backside.I really like the guitar ,the Floyd Rose is best performing Floyd I’ve used in ages and is a solid guitar.I haven’t put it down since I got it earlier this week. However I don’t know what is going on at zZounds.I freaking love zZounds, but recently it’s hard to get knowledgeable people on the phone and seems they need to start inspecting their guitars. Is frustrating being excited about a guitar and is problems ,but this one’s a keeper
