The KORG EK-50 is an entertainer keyboard that you can enjoy on any musical level, and an instrument that grows along with you. Automatic accompaniment "Styles" provide an entire backing band you as you play the keyboard. After all the you tubes and research on this keyboard, I decided to purchase it through zZounds. Oh course I never got to use it because when it arrived it looked like it went through a war. Volume control was damaged. Box was crushed, sides were ripped. I have never seen anything like this. I had to almost use an entire roll of packing tape to restore the box in order to return it. FEDEX seems to care less about the condition of the merchandise they are delivering. I love doing business with zZounds, they are great, but sorry to say, I will have to go to a Local music store to purchase this unit so I can examine the box right there. If you are purchasing any keyboard to be shipped, you better order a flight case and have them ship it in the flight case or have them triple box any keyboard being shipped and triple the foam inside each layer. I have ordered other items from zZounds of a lighter weight with no problems. However, any keyboard over 20 lbs has to be protected. Power amps are different, they will probably survive the trip. Keyboards are a whole different story. Once fedex throws a box weighing 50 to 75 lbs on top of that keyboard it will crush the top of that box and crush the control knobs. The 5 stars is for zZounds.
