zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Get the fast action and heavy tone you've come to expect from Jackson. This guitar features custom-voiced Jackson humbucker pickups and a compound radius fingerboard.

Smooth, lightning-fast playability and signature heavy Jackson tone in classic Dinky form, with dual high-output humbucking pickups, reverse headstock and a fulcrum bridge.

Compound Radius Fingerboard
A feature unique to Jackson(R) that lets you shred like no other. Rounder near the nut - perfect for fingering crushing chords and deadly riffs. Then, as you climb the neck, the fingerboard flattens out, making it perfect for effortless warp-speed shredding and the widest string bends known to man.

24 Jumbo Frets
Superbly finished and easily accessible on all models. When combined with our compound radius fingerboard, this feature ensures effortless string bending and super-fast shredding all the way up to the 24th fret.

Distinctive Shark Fin Inlays
Undeniable. Unmistakable. 100% Jackson. This instantly recognizable feature makes our guitars stand out from the crowd. Jackson guitars not only play better - they look better, too.

High-Output, Custom-Voiced Covered Jackson Pickups
Painstakingly voiced for full, rich tone while providing maximum overdrive and sustain. These bad boys also clean up nicely when rolled back, which isn't always true of high-output pickups.

Fixed Adjustable Bridge with String-Through-Body Design
Adjustable bridge ensures that optimal action and perfect intonation are easily set - with no need for annoying special tools you can never find when you need them. String-through-body design means maximum sustain and resonance.

Cover your axe. Besides protecting your new JS, the gig bag lets you carry it with ease, confident that it won't get dinged. Why buy a lesser guitar that comes in a mere cardboard box?

I think I will be playing this guitar for a while. And if all Jackson Guitars are this beautiful to look at and play, I might get another one...maybe a Kelly w/ Floyd Rose trem. system...maybe later in life, but for now I'll be rocking beast for a while.

Sound
The sound on this guitar is good, but it's not the best. Though it could be my amp...all I have is a practice amp so that might be way it only sounds good and not "OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!" Lol but still, its good.

Features
(just look at the picture for most of what it comes with.) This guitar comes with a whammy/tremolo bar, 2 humbucker pickups, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way switch, and tools for adjustment...which is really nice. But beware of the whammy bar though, since it's not a floyd rose or kahler or something like that, it will go out of tune if whammied like crazy...and pulled backwards if it's in floating-mode.

Ease of Use
If you know how to play a guitar, this should be as easy as hell. For beginners, this might be a good guitar to start out with.

Quality
When I opened it on Christmas Day, it was SO sexy. Though I kinda expected a guitar that was a little bigger, but thats what i get for thinking. :P But it is really good-lokking with a gloss black finish (that's what I got) pearl shark-fin inlays and reverse headstock.

Value
Dude...$200...how is that NOT good? How read more is that not AMAZING!?

Manufacturer Support
I haven't dealt with Jackson Guitar Company at all, and I hope I don't have to, but from what I read from other reviews on Jackson Guitars, they sound like a delight to get help from.

The Wow Factor
Like I said, it's beautiful, but the only drawback is that the finish is gloss...that means fingerprints will show on it if not clean daily. But it'd worth it.

Musical Background:
A Few years, but I still have MUCH more to learn.

Musical Style:
Anything, but mostly METAL!!
