This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
well i have had this 2001 JS1 JACKSON DINKY for 9 years and i still get complaments on its tone and sustain. this jackson compares to any USA made model hands down and its even better than some of the USA model jacksons no doubt! i like everything about this guitar and more. its simply a Brilliant! guitar. i would not buy the india cedro wood jacksons. the 2001 JS1 Jackson Dinky cant be replaced so i keep my guitars under lock and key.

Sound
i have a 2001 JS1 Jackson with a 4 piece select Alder body. the 2001 JS1 jackson Dinky models. have been classified by many pro guitarist to be pro rated and i do agree. the tone on this baby matches any USA model jackson the stock JE10 PU'S ARE SIMPLY FANTASTIC! i have kept mine stock for 9 years because i havent heard any other humbucker that sounds better than the stock JE10'S. THIS GUITAR SREAMS METAL and top qualty!

Features
it has everything i need and more.

Ease of Use
very easy to use the neck is very smooth and fast.

Quality
like i said this is the 2001 JS1 Jackson Dinky i'm talking about. the quality of craftmanship is A+ IT'S CRAFTED with a 4 piece select Alder body and the electronics are fantastic also. the 500k volume and tone pots are 9 years old in my 2001 JS1 jackson and still works and sound like it did when i first bought it in 2001. the 2001 JS1 JACKSON DINKY is pro quality read more all the way. i can not say that about the ones that were crafted with india cedro woods. i personaly know 3 pro players that use the 2001 JS1 JACKSON DINKY with the Alder body in the studio and playing live on stage and they love theres like i do mine.

Value
they dont make these anymore but if they did and made them the same way they did in 2001 with the Alder body and great electronics this jackson is worth a lot more than what it sold for and i do mean a lot more! every guitarist i have talked to who own's a 2001 JS1 MODEL say's it matches most USA made jackson models when it comes to quality/tone and feel.

The Wow Factor
2001 JS1 JACKSON DINKY is simply a top quality and a fantastic guitar hands down! i use this guitar along with my usa made strats.i would like to have another one but there hard to find and the guitarist that have them wont sell and i dont blame them
