So I got the flight hard case version of this, as I wanted something light for on foot travel, the handle and strap are essential. It’s also slightly less conspicuous than a standard flight case. You’re slim on options when you’re using a controller the size of the RX3 and so I imagine the new controllers with 4 channels and the OPUS are just not gonna be able to be transported the same way. It’s still heavy because of the unit, and the straps are solid as far as I can tell, and the important details like the stitch quality on the handles and stress points are quality and I can’t tell you the exact durability of the nylon but it looks just like some of the higher quality 1500 denier nylon on my expensive outdoors bags.The padding is amble and the foam pads give you an extra layer to keep the unit from jostling too much in the case, this is definitely made to transport your unit, from one place to another and safely. You cannot really use it while it’s in the case and unzipped it takes up way too much room to use on a table that way and the cables don’t have enough space to work out of the case - so if you’re looking for a light weight carry case that you can carry with a strap or want a good backup to your flight case. The shape is only weird because of the way the RX3 Screen is, so this is another great product by headliner cases. I will probably check out their low profile case next.
