"It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I honestly don't ever expect to be looking for a replacement. If it were lost or stolen, I would certainly replace it. The only thing that I don't like about it is the weight-- it's a heavy instrument, but, hey, that goes with the territory-- they're all that way.
Sound
Sound is incredibly clear, mellow-- especially with flat-wound strings. Sounds great with a flat pick or finger style. Excellent solo voice, also blends well with other instruments.
Features
All of the components are top of the line. Really couldn't ask for more.
Quality
Fit and finish are excellent. No flaws.
Value
You can find cheaper guitars, but you can't find one that sounds better for any amount of money.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to try to reach Gretsch.
The Wow Factor
This is a beautiful instrument. I especially love the "thumbnail" markers on the fretboard.
