The Gibson Custom ES-330 VOS is the rebirth of a classic. Similar to an ES-335 in look and feel, the ES-330 is a genuine hollowbody, lacking the solid centerblock of its semi-hollow counterparts. The Custom ES-330 VOS is closely modeled on the original release of this classic guitar, and sports an unmistakable vintage vibe to complement its classic sound. With an extremely playable neck and dual P-90 pickups, the Gibson Custom ES-330 projects outstanding tone for any genre of music.

Classic Hollowbody Sound and Style

Unlike many other Gibson ES guitars, the ES-330 is a true hollowbody. The complete openness of the body creates an wider sound with bright ringing textures and vibrant overtones. The body is made from combination three-ply maple and poplar, while the mahogany neck includes a maple spline all connected with a sturdy mortise and tenon joint. The result is a rich resonance through the entire instrument. The pickups are slightly underwound P-90s well-known for their tonal versatility. From crisp rock to mellow jazz tones, the ES-330 is equipped to do it all. For added playing potential, the vintage cherry option includes a classic Bigsby tremolo tailpiece.

Aged to perfection, Gibson VOS (Vintage Original Specs) guitars undergo an "aging process" for an oxidized finish and all the dings and scratches you would expect from a well-worn guitar. VOS series guitars look and feel like a 50-year-old guitar should.

Gibson Custom ES330 VOS Electric Guitar

The Gibson Custom ES330 VOS Hollowbody Electric Guitar is reminiscent of the classic Gibson, late '50s feel, including the comfortable neck shape blending into the soft curves of the rounded fingerboard binding. The ES330 from Gibson Custom is a lightweight, full hollowbody guitar with a lively sound whether played acoustically or plugged in. With the 16th fret neck joint and just the right neck angle, the ES330 has a great feel that makes you want to play all night.

The combination of exacting '50s body and neck specifications and slightly underwound P-90 pickups on aged nickel-plated bases tied together with an original spec wiring harness will bring you back to the tones of Grant Green in a laid-back New York jazz club. Run the Gibson Custom ES330 guitar through an old tube amp and you won't be able to keep from playing one British Invasion song after another.
