The Furman SS-6B is a simple pro quality surge suppressor with basic EMI/RFI filter. Far better than budget power strips that due very little to filter noise nor protect your equipment. It is perfect for use in tight spots like DJ coffins. I use the Furman SS-6B in my DJ coffin to plug in my DJ Mixer, CDJs and Laptop. Then I plug the SS-6B into bank A of my Furman P-1800 AR Voltage Regulator/Power Conditioner for a stable 120V, added power conditioning and protection. I use bank B for my powered speakers. The result is ultra clean, quiet and stable current to my system which produces a cleaner and more dynamic sound. I highly recommend the Furman SS-6B for any DJ or Musician with little space or on a budget.
