Things To Know
Fishman Rare Earth Acoustic Guitar Pickup

Hello, this is Alex from zZounds here with some things to know about the Fishman Rare Earth acoustic guitar pickup. One thing I really like about this is that it is so easy to install. Obviously, you can just slide it right into the soundhole of basically any standard round-shaped acoustic guitar soundhole. It has adjustment Phillips head screws here that you can use to tighten it on. I chose to drill in and actually install this pickup so that it's just constantly in my guitar. However, you can also just leave it hanging out of the soundhole so that you can install it and then take it out when you don't want to use it. I have my excess cable just coiled up inside the soundhole of the guitar. So yeah, it's really flexible, it sounds great, and it's very easy to use.

"One of the Best Around!"
I will use this for the next two years. It has all I need right now.
Sound
Has a very natural Full sound, not thumpy or tinny. Would probably work well with a Microphone, but you don't need it.
Features
The Volume/Sensitivity dial is useful. Would be a 10 if it had an EQ switch, like the seymour duncans.
Ease of Use
Very easy, but the manual does not explain much in terms of installation.
Quality
I have used Fishman pickups for 20 years, and they have always worked for me.
Value
There are other pickups that will do the same job, but fishman is dependable for consistent good sound.
Manufacturer Support
Did not use support.
The Wow Factor
Nice Sleek design, not bulky or clumsy.
