A push-pull pot on the tone control adds the neck pickup to switch positions 1 and 2 for two sounds not usually found on a Strat. The silky satin Modern "C" Player Plus Strat neck fits your hand like a glove, with smooth rolled edges for supreme comfort. The 12" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets facilitate fluid leads and choke free bends. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this guitar. It came with very low action, and without any fret buzz. Intonation was good as well. I normally get a professional setup on my guitars , but this only doesn’t need it , although I did change the strings. I like the noiseless pickups and locking tuners also. Frets were very smooth and level as well. My only small criticism is that the unique color of the fretboard obscures the fret marker dots on the fretboard, and makes them easy to miss.

Like the clean tones from my Tele and Strat, but also have to have my pedals for EQ, and other effects.
