The eKeys Keyboard
It's a lightweight USB keyboard with 37 mini keys and will fit in with any computer setup due to its compact design. Installation couldn't be easier. The attached USB cable simply plugs in to any available USB socket on your computer and because the keyboard is Class compliant, installation is automatic in Windows XP and Mac OS X. Drivers have also been included for Windows 95/98/ME/2000 and Apple Mac OS 9.1 or later. Once installation has been completed, the keyboard is ready to use with the included software or any standard music package.

I had this eKeys 37 keyboard since 2005, when I was running XP. I recently upgraded to Mac OSX and it was plug and play in garage band. I expected to have all sorts of driver issues cause it was so old, but it worked with no problems. Quality and price is reasonable. I believe I paid $40 for it from Muscians Friend. It's been used on/off for making sound effects in apps and dabbing in music (not a heavy duty user). Does its job and has lasted the test of time through 3 machines. Manufacturers always emailed me back with driver downloads when lost the drivers in 2007.
