The LTD Black Metal Series, which launched in 2018, quickly became one of ESP's most popular collections of guitars due to their brutal aesthetic look and streamlined performance with a crushing sound. With the LTD Arctic Metal Series, ESP has taken the same concept and flipped the color theme from the darkest of blacks to the coldest of frozen wastelands.

All Arctic Metal Series guitars have Snow White Satin finishes with stainless steel frets, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with no inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers, and black hardware. They all include a single aggressive-sounding EMG 81TW pickup with a push-pull control for coil splitting.

I’m an enormous fan of ESP, they’re probably my favorite guitar company. With that being said I had very high hopes for this instrument. Since its release I was dying to get one and now that I finally have it I can confidently say that it’s blown away all of my expectations! Lightweight, sleek, smooth, the action is great and the LTD locking tuners do an amazing job keeping it in tune.
