Combining every technology Darkglass has developed since their humble beginnings, Exponent 500 is an analog amplifier head with powerful digital signal chain modeling. From all stances: Mechanically, electronically, and with an ever-growing DSP library that has compressors, distortions, modulation, preamps, Impulse Responses and more. Connect to the Darkglass Suite app to adjust the modeled effects, preamps, and cabinet simulation, or use MIDI to control parameters or move between presets.

Wow, just wow. Went from an Ampeg head with a hiss and occasional radio station, to dead silent, transparent, clean and customizable. Loving all the features of this powerhouse amp. The EQ, and various settings literally lead to an almost infinite amount of tones. They're all good so far. I play in a jazz trio, with a songwriter, and in an alternative rock band. This will handle all my needs with ease. Extremely well thought out and intuitive. Hoping the footswitch comes out soon, DG told me around November 2023. Not a necessity yet, but would be nice down the road. Everything else is amazing. I highly recommend.
