I gig often and sub for many bands of different styles. These strings are all I use and they sound great! They are clear, punchy, Funky. Great for slap as well as toning the highs back for Salsa.I use an Ibanez Premium SR1305E 5 String Bass.The only thing is that if you gig often, the strings get dull after two months, if you gig less, then it will last three months or more. The tone is beautiful. Another thing I love about them is that the balls are color coded which makes it easy to distinguish between strings and order.
