Sound
Ive had just about every amp/cabinet combination there is through the Years and I like the sound of this cabinet with a Fender P Bass. I use a Road Worn P Bass and GK Mb 2 micro head. Serious Tone !! It's only 30 lbs. Easily the smallest bass rig I've ever used. I have 3 Jazz Basses too and they sound great as well. I used to have a 12" cabinet that was great too. These are hard to find, been out of production for years, but well worth it
Features
I love the built in dolly I just leave it on. I use it all the time and leave my heavy stuff at home. it doesn't mind being drug around. It has never let me down It has 2 x 10 and a horn. Very cool rig. I have watched guys come up to the stage and check out the amp Wondering how I'm getting such a big sound from a really small amp.
Value
They were pricey new. I got this one from Craigslist and the ozite was all torn I had it recovered and still looks like new.
Manufacturer Support
Ampeg is all made in China these days and isn't near as good as the Ampeg of old. Only once I had a problem with Ampeg Bass amps and got it fixed and sold it. It was Chinese......
