Master luthier and guitar designer Andy Powers took the original 2006 Grand Symphony footprint and made some radical changes to the aesthetic look, bracing, and architecture of the guitar. The result is a guitar that evokes a fuller voice and wider frequency dispersion that creates extended sustain and projection. Hawaiian Koa is known for its full midrange and clear top end sparkle and with the Grand Symphony bracing and body design, packs a nice low end punch as well. The Koa is beautifully figured and features a stunning shaded edgeburst finish on the back of the neck and the entire body. Premium features include Soundport venetian cutaway, V Class bracing, Gotoh 21:1 gold tuning machines, and Spring Vine maple fretboard inlays.
