Master Guitar Designer and builder, Andy Powers, created a special Builders Edition koa series guitar that contains unique, old world aesthetic qualities to pair with the latest innovations. Instead of a koa top, this builders edition guitar features a torrified Sitka spruce top to pair with koa back and sides and includes a host of special features unique to the builders edition. V-class bracing, beveled armrest along with a beveled cutaway with neck heel contouring, silent satin finish with Kona burst, paua fingerboard/peghead inlays and rosette, paua edge trim on the top and back, Gotoh tuners, Expression System 2 electronics, and deluxe hardshell case.

I've owned 5 Taylors. '97 - 815 c, '96 Cindy, 2 baby's, and an early issue K-14. I'm in year 2. It's my go to. Still own the 1st 2.. The K-14 is freekin' comfortable, and I love the way the V bracing prevents the vibration of the instrument from competing with the vibration of the vocals.. Pure genius...!
