The Taylor 854ce features all-solid Indian Rosewood with a solid Sitka Spruce top, West African Ebony fingerboard and bridge, single ring rosette with maple binding, hard rock maple binding on the body, neck and bridge, smoked nickel mini tuners, and award-winning stage- and recording-ready ES2 electronics. The solid Indian Rosewood back and sides give the player plenty of bass response, top end clarity and a nice scooped-out midrange.
