The Taylor 524ce incorporates an all-mahogany cutaway electric guitar with Taylor’s revolutionary V-class bracing system, which helps increase volume and sustain while improving the natural intonation of the notes. Mahogany is known for its rich midrange and natural compression, making it an excellent rhythm and fingerstyle guitar that plays well in the mix with other instruments. The grand auditorium body shape is super versatile, appealing to many different playing styles.

Rootsy appointments complement the mahogany’s dark, vintage looks, including faux tortoise shell binding and grained ivoroid century inlays. The guitar incorporates a Venetian cutaway and comes equipped with the Expression System 2 electronics for a dynamic amplified acoustic sound.

First off, I’ve only had it for a short while but gotta say I’d take it over my 714 , southern jumbo and d35 , been picker for a good bit of my life and every once in a while a guitar just comes along and right from the start you love it others take time , for me it’s this guitar she has me wishing I was playing her 24/7 , a pure joy to play ,looks beautiful and very well balanced between highs, lows and mids and anyone that’s ever had the pleasure of playing a taylor already know how comfortable their necks are , shes the sweetest sounding guitar I’ve ever played ,but buyer beware ,if your a little heavy handed and really like to dig in with your strumming hand she won’t like it .. but as far as a guitarist with a softer strumming style or for finger picking , you’ll search the world over and never find its equal , kudos to TAYLOR for sure , and thanx to zZounds for their payment plans and stock of quality items, because if not, with me being a father to 5 lovely children every piece of music equipment I own would just be in fantasy
