I am a worship leader with a smaller band, to get a fuller sound I decided to buy this 12 string to experiment with new sounds. We all know the quality, craftsmanship, and beautiful tone of Taylor guitars, this guitar is no exception. This is one of the most comfortable guitars I've ever played, let alone being a 12 string. Once you really get playing you forget you're even playing a 12 string because of how effortless it is. I highly recommend this guitar or any Taylor guitar and I highly recommend Zzounds for their great customer service and flexible payment options.

Sound
This guitar sounds beautiful when strumming. The torrified top gives the guitar a bright but warm sound that will stand out in a mix without being obtrusive. This guitar has the distinct and well known Taylor "chime" you've probably already heard. The nature of a 12 string guitar provides a beautiful and resonant chorus sound from the octave strings.

Features
The wood selection is magnificent, the torrified spruce top is as high of quality as I've seen on a guitar. The gloss finish on the top, back, and sides of the body is beautifully shined and somehow feels soft to the touch even. The tuners are very high quality and easy to use, the compensated bridge has amazing attention to detail from the carving to make sure the octave strings have correct intonation. The only minor complaint I have is that the guitar comes with plastic bridge pins but read more that is the same for all Taylor guitars under the 300 series, they can be easily swapped for ebony pins during a string change.

Ease of Use
Playing a 12 string is a bit of an adjustment if you are used to a 6 string, however this is one of the easiest 12 string guitars to play that I have ever played. After a while you could forget you were even playing a 12 string if it weren't for the sound.

Quality
Taylor guitars are built to last. With the patented NT neck joint you can be assured that the guitar will be easy to service for years to come. As long as the guitar is taken care of with basic maintenance and proper humidification control, I see no reason this guitar shouldn't last a lifetime or longer.

Value
You may get a bit of sticker shock from the price but with that price you get the value of the Taylor guitars name. I have played and owned many different guitars but there are few companies I trust as much as Taylor. When you buy a guitar you're also buying the name. Not just that but even without the Taylor name this guitar would be a good value for the price based on the materials, craftsmanship, and sound.

Manufacturer Support
Taylor customer service is top notch, I have owned 3 Taylor guitars and with any issue I've had they have been easy to reach and very receptive. They always make it right for their customers.

The Wow Factor
You can make music on any guitar, lots of manufacturers make 12 string guitars. But at the end of the day, there's just something about a Taylor that no other guitar can beat.
