The Taylor 217e BLK Plus features layered Big Leaf Maple back and sides, solid Torrefied Spruce top, solid ebony fingerboard and bridge, white binding, upgraded bracing, and award winning stage and recording ready ES2 electronics. The patented Taylor neck joint ensures optimum playability and intonation. The 217e BLK Plus ships in a travel ready, reinforced Aerocase.

I love this guitar. It sounds good on or off the amp. It has a nice feel too. Stays in tune nice. Also tunes smoothly. I did let it acclimate to my place here after the 2 day shipping in cold freezing weather. I took my time. But it's a very nice Taylor Guitar. I have no regrets. I'm glad I bought it.
