I love this guitar. It sounds good on or off the amp. It has a nice feel too. Stays in tune nice. Also tunes smoothly. I did let it acclimate to my place here after the 2 day shipping in cold freezing weather. I took my time. But it's a very nice Taylor Guitar. I have no regrets. I'm glad I bought it.

I bought the guitar a few weeks ago and love it.. one draw back when I decided to learn a song for worship at church that was capo on the 7th fret the 10th fret was fretting out on a G chord so I contacted zZounds and they were quick to start a return and send me a different one so I packed that one up and sent it out now I'm just waiting on the replacement but all in all this guitar sounds and plays very smooth on or off the sound system I very much appreciate the customer service they are amazing this is my second guitar I've bought from zZounds my first one was a Taylor 114ce-w also very nice guitar

I played a different model in another store and liked it but could not afford it. I found the 217e in my price range and took a chance and bought it without playing it. The first time I strummed it I was stunned. I have and Martin HD28 a 28 a J200 and a J45. I love them all and this 217e is right up there with them. It has a unique sound that I can't quite put my finger on but I will say it is one of the loudest guitars Ive ever played and the tone is smooth as silk. I still have not listened to it thru an amp! It is also a beautiful guitar, a thing of beauty. The finish on it is slick as glass. I love it! Well worth the money.

Been playing since I was 5 year old. I have played in Rock, Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Bands. Now its just in church.
