I absolutely love my stanton CMP-800's the sample decks and hot cue buttons are laid out perfectly! in front of the jogwheel? GENIUS!!! the 4 hot cue points as opposed to the normal 3 FANTASTIC. LOVE the effect manipulation through the jogwheels and an incredibly easy looping features, AND THE TAP!!!!! all BPM counters are CRAP! there is no better BPM counter then your own ears. Rather then fumbling with your headphones nudging the pitch slider ever so gently to get them to match up, cue to one side use the TAP to tap out the beat, then cue to the other tap that one out then match the numbers and your gold! If your looking for something to get you ready for a gig or to practice on in between gigs there are sliight deferences ul see from these and pioneers. Im not scared to say and MAYBE cause im more used to my cmp's but when playing on Pioneer 1000's i find myself missing my baby stantons.one thing i wish all cdj's would incorporate is the inverted screen- NECK SAVER. I love my stanton CMP800s almost as much as i love ZZSOUNDS.COM
